A graphic artist and painter, he graduated from the Budapest University of Fine Arts in 1973. Throughout his career, he received numerous accolades: the Kondor Béla Prize in 1976, the Derkovits Memorial Medal in 1980, the Grand Prize at the Miskolc Graphic Arts Biennale in 1985, and the Munkácsy Prize in 1987. He was repeatedly recognized at the Hódmezővásárhely Autumn Exhibition and is also a recipient of the Koller Prize.
