A painter and applied artist, he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts and later lived in Nagybánya, becoming an expert in Maramureș folk art. He has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions, including at the Museum of Applied Arts, in Szeged, Stockholm, and Szombathely.
