László Mednyánszky studied in Paris and Munich, traveled extensively in Italy, and contributed to the founding of the Szolnok artists’ colony. His works often depict people on the margins of society, reflecting deep relationships with his models, while he maintained a life of constant travel between Paris, Vienna, Budapest, and his family estate in Beczkó.
